Kroger Talent Acquisition Branding & Marketing Manager

Position Summary

Develop and lead communications, recruitment marketing and storytelling strategy for the enterprise designed to attract diverse top talent and elevate our reputation as an employer of choice. Responsible for a broad range of communication and recruitment marketing projects designed to enhance candidate attraction effectiveness, including print, career storytelling, events, digital/web and social. Partner with Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence, HR and business leaders to deliver innovative, data-driven, strategic communications that help deliver on talent acquisition goals.

Essential Job Functions

  • Articulate an employer brand strategy inclusive of our desired candidate target and brand tone of voice, visual requirements and positioning
  • Lead recruitment marketing communications activities, including development and execution of recruitment marketing collateral and assets
  • Define/create digital recruitment marketing strategy, for both organic and paid digital campaigns
  • Create content for internal/external print, web, digital, social and video scripts. Maintain a content calendar aligned with overall communications calendar
  • Develop inspiring stories to share our story as an employer of choice and recognize the talent, achievements and aspirations of associates
  • Establish metrics/KPIs to support recruitment strategy, measure the effectiveness of communication strategy and strengthening of future communications
  • Report findings to stakeholders/leaders on a regular basis
  • Partner with enterprise Social and Marketing teams to identify points of alignment across company and employer brand and leverage across recruitment campaigns
  • Extend the current recruitment strategies to include diversity recruitment initiatives and ensure career website and recruitment marketing materials promote Kroger as a diverse and inclusive employer
  • Update and standardize recruitment marketing collateral for hiring events/conferences
  • Lead research efforts and development of new/enhanced recruitment marketing processes/channels
  • Manage relationships with outside resources to deliver information; oversee completion of work from concept to delivery
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure they have appropriate information, training and recruitment collateral

Minimum Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in communication, journalism, marketing, public relations, advertising, creative writing, graphic design or related field
  • 5+ years internal, corporate communications and/or talent attraction strategies experience
  • Strong written/oral communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail/quality
  • Demonstrated ability leading multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Proven success in collaboration, innovation and delivery of results
  • Ability to consult and influence at all levels of organization
  • Creative and data-driven approach to strategic problem-solving, messaging and communication delivery
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desired Previous Experience/Education

  • 7+ years internal, corporate communications and/or recruitment marketing experience
  • Experience with retail store communication and/or retail recruitment marketing
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, websites and digital recruitment marketing
  • Experience developing strategy that establishes systems, governance and best practices
  • Experience with employer and/or recruitment brand

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
