About the role: 

Hims & Hers is seeking a Video Content Specialist to join our Growth Marketing team. The successful candidate will be excited by the creative and technical challenges of delivering the right video content to the right consumer at the right moment of their health journey. Health is incredibly personal, and choosing Hims&Hers requires a great deal of trust. Video content is key to educating our customers - first to help earn that trust, and second to help them succeed with their treatment. 

We’re looking for someone with experience developing comprehensive YouTube strategies and medically rigorous app content for Health & Wellness brands. This person will work cross-functionally with video production, landing page, CRM, App, social, and SEO teams.  


  • Champion the needs of the customer to help surface the right video in the right moment to support their health journey. 
  • Work with social, production, and SEO teams to develop a YouTube strategy that positions us as a go-to destination on YouTube for health and wellness education for stigmatized conditions. 
  • Develop SEO video content to bring new customers to the Hims&Hers brands through YouTube search. 
  • Partner with creators and influencers in the YouTube space to expand the reach of our video content. 
  • Develop App video concepts to help our members succeed with treatment, whether that be through mental health & mindfulness techniques, sex education, “How-to” video, motivational content, or short form Story-style content with actionable tactics to help you get the most from your medication.  
  • Work with the App team to develop “event worthy” video content around which we can build App store events to  break through the noise in the App store, and open up the Hims & Hers Apps as conversion channels. 
  • Operate in a highly cross-functional role, partnering closely with SEO, Editorial, Social, Product (App), Integrated Marketing, Creative, Brand, and production. 
  • Identify new opportunities to test and iterate on our existing video content formats.
  • Work with the analytics and insights team to build dashboards to measure the success of content, and help prioritize which content types deserve further investment

Experience and Skills:

  • 7+ years experience in a video-focused marketing content 
  • Proven track record of managing and building successful YouTube channels for brands
  • Experience working on mobile app platforms 
  • Strong creative mind, with a data-driven approach 
  • Experience using insights and strategic thinking to shape priorities 
  • Experience pitching video concepts, using business objectives (acquisition and retention) as a key driver of content success
  • Experience driving complex projects in a fast-paced environment
